You are working late in your electronics shop and find that you need various resistors for a project. But alas, all you have is a big box of 10 ? resistors. Show how you can make each of the following equivalent resistors by a combination of your 10 ? resistors: (a) 35 ? (b) 1 ? (c) 3.3 ? (d) 7.5 ?.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have unlimited resistors?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, only 10 ohms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea but HOW MANY 10 ohms?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhm sorry, you're right it has unlimited resistor.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then all you gotta do is imagine m resistors in series, and n such combinations in parallel. What would be the effective resistance of such combo?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it!
