OpenStudy (mr.z):

If you don't know what disillusioned means, which phrase will help you figure it out? A."lost everything" (something opposite) B."give up hope" (something similar) C."first few bad experiences" (an example) (I know what "disillusioned" means - disappointed in an idea or figure that one discovers to be less good than one had believed -, the thing I don't get is the parentheses in the answers. Someone help me out here. A. B. or C.?

OpenStudy (mr.z):

@Keigh2015

OpenStudy (fabian1998):

I say A :P

OpenStudy (keigh2015):

I say A as well, but the parenthesis in the answers just made me really confuzzled

OpenStudy (mr.z):

Me as well.

OpenStudy (fabian1998):

im 100% its A

OpenStudy (mr.z):

Okay, I'll go with A.

OpenStudy (fabian1998):

Tell me if I am correct cause the others don't make any sense to me.

OpenStudy (mr.z):

I think the parentheses mean whether or not the phrase given is close to the word "disillusioned". I would think it's B because "give up hope" because that's close to the definition, but the test doesn't tell me if it's right or not.

OpenStudy (fabian1998):

Ahhh okay
