OpenStudy (goose.):

Check my answer? Will Medal.

OpenStudy (goose.):

Add (7x6 + 10x2 − 10) + (3x6 − 6x3 + 4). 10x6 + 4x2 − 6 10x6 + 4x3 − 6 10x6 − 6x3 + 10x2 − 6 <---- I chose C. 10x6 + 10x2 − 6x3 + 6

OpenStudy (goose.):

Or wait I think I know what I did wrong, It would be D wouldn't it?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

7x^6 + 10x^2 - 10 + 3x^6 - 6x^3 + 4 -- parenthesis are not needed if it is separated by a + sign. now we combine like terms...but don't forget about the number if there is no like term. 7x^6 + 3x^6 = 10x^6 -6x^3 -- there is no other like term with this 10x^2 -- there is no other like term with this -10 + 4 = -6 now put it all together 10x^6 - 6x^3 + 10x^2 - 6 ---- you were correct the first time...it is C

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

understand ? Any questions ?

OpenStudy (goose.):

Okay Thanks.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

sure thing :)

OpenStudy (goose.):

Yeah I see it. I flipped the signs the second time, which made me think I had it wrong.
