Sarah starts at one corner of a square field and walks 60 feet along one side to another corner of the field. She turns 90° and walks 40 feet, and then walks straight back to where she started. What is the area of the part of the field she walked around? A.100 ft² B. 240 ft² C. 1200 ft² D. 2400 ft²

Imagine it as a right angle triangle with sides of 60ft and 40ft

So to find the area of a triangle you times the two sides together, and divide by 2
