hint: I can rewrite your equation as below: \[\Large {p^3} = {2^3}\] now, two powers with same exponent are equal each other if they have the same basis too

for example, the solution of this equation: \[\Large {k^3} = 343\] is \( \large k= 7 \) since: \[\Large 343 = {7^3}\]
