Why do i believe in God?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reason 1: the universe needs an explanation Reason 2: the resurrection of Christ The central belief of Christianity is that Jesus of Nazareth rose from the dead. These resources explore whether it is reasonable to believe in the resurrection of Jesus. Christians believe that God is always at work in the world, and that the events and teaching recorded in the Bible particularly speak to us of who God is and of his love for us. The resurrection of Jesus is the supreme example of God acting in history to validate the life, teaching and ministry of Jesus who reveals God to us. Life could not just be this perfect without a perfect creator he made water he made the Earth he made the universe he made us. You can think differently thats fine but be nice about it please (: God bless

If you really study the Old Testement and compare in to the New, I call continuing, Testement you'll discover that Jesus's teaching in the Gospel's is basically the same as ancient Judaism, of course that's where he comes from, but he sometimes puts his own slant on its interpretation. I can't deny Christ any more than I can deny God the Father in which he worshiped, followed. I preceive ancient Judaism as communications from God the Father of the future and Christ the feeding forward towards Him. No, life is not perfect by any means but that doesn't mean we just give up, we must continue foward with as much help from our Lords as we can get.

The Universe doesn't really need a explanation, it origins are explan by modern science, but it's corrections are according to God the Father and Christ.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

resurrected Jesus is a tall order you will need to defy our modern understanding of science in order to make that statement true as a fact of history If you use the universe needing an explanation, start with something small. You are able to perceive the "universe," because you exist. If you do not agree with me, just try imagining not existing at all. If you cannot do that imagine the people from France that do not know you nor have any relation or connection with you (they go about their lives facing their own problems or laughing about something silly...) if you can't do that, then you just found a fallacy in your need for an explanation for the universe.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I can and probably will sympathize with you if you redefine your belief as an ultimate concern - a theology put forth by Paul Tillich in the mid 20th CE. There is no need for you to use the same lyrics and the same beat as your congregation why you believe in a god. Just simply say, because you do. Once you start giving out reasons, then you will be spouting nonsense and fallacies. Just like you did from Deism to Theism and from Hierophany to Theophany.
