i need help on how to write a 2 and a half page essay and my topic is "if i had a million dollars."

OOOHH, I love essays. That sounds weird. Anyway, I had that exact same prompt as an 8th grader. It really just depends on your personality. Just imagine you, but rich. What would you do?

Ok so the best way to start is to ask yourself the simple question: "What would I do with a million dollars? "
Second, list the ideas. even if its in little points. (i.e. I would pay for college, I would buy a car etc.)
Third, give 3 or 4 sentences as to why you would like these reasons. (i.e. I would use his money to pay for college. I believe having a great strong education would...blah, blah, blah)
Eventually these points will make a paragraph. 
At the end, go back and edit, maybe make and intro and conclusion and boom...you have an essay. Its easier then having to write a diagram and its fairly similar.
