@Ashleyisakitty

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

Individuality was important in the development of the Western Political Thought, because it was the basis of democracy. Judeo-Christian tradition, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, as well as the English advanced individual rights. In Judeo-Christianity the way they expressed individuality was with the Torah/Bible,also known as the Hebrew Bible and a old testament for Christians. It stated that human beings are created in God’s image.Jesus,also knows as Jesus Christ,explained a personal relationship with God.He claimed to be the son of God. A man named Paul stressed the equality with God.Paul was an apostle and had a major impact on Christianity. He preached in cities and also said that Jesus was the son of God,and died for the people’s sins.

They had religion based off of flawed gods to make them more like themselves instead of distant, also, greeks are said to have not been aware of their individuality even though they were definitely effected by it. They didn't really have high value for individuality. It sort of like came naturally.

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

OpenStudy (kohai):

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

These are other questions for the topic. Why is Cleisthenes generally considered the founder of Athenian Democracy? How did Pericles strengthen individual participation in democracy? How did Romae influence the development of democracy in the western world?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok i didnt know what level these questions were

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

I answered those questions. 1.Pericles strengthen democracy enabling poor citizens to participate. 2.Cleisthenes introduced reforms 3.Rome gave a idea of republic and adopted the green notion rather than the subject of a ruler.
