I'm in woodshop and need help with one easy problem.... WILL MEDAL How many lineal feet are in a piece of stock that is 1in by 6ins by 12ft?

I think you meant to say "linear" feet and my guess is that it's 12 ft since you can order wood by the foot. Eg: you can order a 2x4 (2 inches by 4 inches) and you can specify how long you want each board. So for instance, you can order a 12-ft two by four Note: a 2x4 isn't really exactly 2 inches by 4 inches. It's going to be slightly less for each dimension
