i have no idea. please help

OpenStudy (jgirl128):

I believe the answer is a joint-stock company. "A joint-stock company is a business entity where different stocks can be bought and owned by shareholders. Each shareholder owns company stock in proportion, evidenced by his or her shares (certificates of ownership)." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint-stock_company ^ I recommend reading that link to learn a little bit more about them.
