probability is 1 out of 8 so it just means that the event is likely to occur once in every 8 tries.

ok so than it would be unlikely

if you consider 1 out of 8 is unlikely, then yes... that might not be true for all events, like if I get a lottery 1 out of 8 times, I am extremely lucky :D
