I know this question shouldn't be asked here, but does a bass guitar really need pedals or can I play without it and still sound good?

In my opinion who can play Bass without pedals but it not gives you a good sound quality.So, I suggest you to play without pedal . And if you are a beginner then you can start without pedals . Hope this helps.
