OpenStudy (meehan98):

Okay, need some help, please!! Identify the inverse of f(x) = −1 + x^3. Determine whether it is a function and state its domain and range. The answer will be posted below..

OpenStudy (meehan98):

\[\sqrt[3]{x+1}\] is the inverse and it's a function with domain and rang being all real numbers.

OpenStudy (meehan98):

I did the horizontal line test to the original function, which was instructed, and found that it was not a function, but after doing it algebraically, it is a function. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?
