is (2,4) a solution of 3x-y=2

OpenStudy (babygirl809):

@H3LPN33DED

OpenStudy (babygirl809):

@King.Void.

OpenStudy (disqin):

To verify just take Left hand side of the equation, i.e. \(3x-y\). Put \((2,4)\) in place of \((x,y)\) respectively... So LHS = \(3(2)-(4) = 2\) Compare with Right Hand Side of your equation... Is it's also \(2\)? Yes it is. Hence (2, 4) satisfies the given equation. Congratulations... you did it! :)

OpenStudy (jessie13):
