OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which cell structure serves the stated function in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells A)nucleus:stores genetic information B)cytoplasm:protects cell structures C)ribosomes:regulate cell processes D)DNA:surrounds cell contents

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Well clearly, it's not a nucleus because that is a part of the cell that is more developed in eukaryotic cells. not prokaryotic cells. what do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

most likley

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

@GuitarNerd2015 why do you think it's b? just asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cytoplasm is not really a "structure", and I think that is key here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reread the question, and it is HORRIBLE. Ribosomes do not "regulate cell processes" they build proteins.

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

@mrdoldum I completely missed that, although they share ribosomes, the process they stated for it is incorrect. so it's not B.
