Help with quadratic functions please i dont understand how to graph them.. Graph the function. Identify the vertex and axis of symmetry. f(x)=x^2+4x+1 axis of symmetry:x=2 vertex: (2, -3) axis of symmetry: x=-2 vertex: (-2,3) axis of symmetry:x=-2 vertex:(-2,3) axis of symmetry: x=2 vertex: (2,3)

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you know how to `complete the square` ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

check your answer choices again i think there is typo

Nnesha (nnesha):

a*

Nnesha (nnesha):

to graph the quadratic equation you should rewrite that equation into vertex form y=a(x-h)^2+k or you can use the formula to find x -coordinate of the vertex \[\huge\rm \frac{ -b }{ 2a }\] then substitute x for its value into the x^2+4x+1 to find y -coordinate
