It is believed that Galileo used the “Leaning Tower of Pisa” to conduct his experiments on the law of gravity. He would drop objects from the top and they would land 4.8 meters from the base of the tower. The wall to the top of the tower is 55 meters; (the tower leans so this is not the height). What is the measure of the angle formed by the tower and the horizontal ground to the nearest degree?
