I'm in algebra 2 honors and I'm trying to do my homework but we weren't shown how to do this? Can someone explain this to me please? 1) What happens to the graph when you subtract a number in the function? example: f(x-h) 2) What happens to the graph when you add a number in the function? example: f(x+h) And there isn't any graph to go along with it...

hero (hero):

f(x+h) shifts f(x) h units to the left.

ohhh ok, thank you, so then f(x-h) would shift f(x) h units to the right? @Hero

hero (hero):

Here, study this: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/qlfcom4hab
