OpenStudy (teller):

Can someone tell me if I did this right? The function is defined by f(x)=2x+2 Find f(x+3) f(x+3)=2(x+3)+2 Final answer : f(x+3)= 2x+6+2

OpenStudy (steve816):

Remember, you can add 6+2. So the final answer would be f(x+3)= 2x+8

OpenStudy (teller):

That's what I thought but it told me I was wrong.

OpenStudy (teller):

I just tried 8+2x and it told me I was right.. strange but thanks.

OpenStudy (steve816):

hmm, that's weird. I am 100% sure that my answer is right.

OpenStudy (steve816):

Oh, great, you got it right!
