Can you identify real numbers as either rational or irrational? why? or why not?

OpenStudy (goose.):

No, you can not. The reason is, all real numbers are any number you can find on a number line, so you could have the number 196 which is rational or the number or have a number like pi, which will go on repeating forever. another example of irrational numbers is the sqrt of 2

OpenStudy (goose.):

All real numbers don't full under the rational/irrational categories. as they can be both.
