What were some of the vanities of the Florentine that Savonarola criticized?

OpenStudy (paki):

He openly criticized the worldliness and corruption of Pope Alexander VI - Rodrigo Borgia, and annoying a Borgia was not a smart move. Savonarola was excommunicated, and Florence was threatened with the same if they did not do something about him.Savonarola was forced to accept an ordeal of walking through fire by a rival Franciscan preacher so as to prove his claim of being on a divine mission, but although scheduled the event never happened,so Savonarola lost face with the Florentine mob,was seized, tortured, confessed, and then executed as a heretic.
