Which scenario is most likely to result in an antibiotic-resistant strain of bacteria? Select one: a. A patient becomes reinfected with the same illness several years later. b. Combination drug therapy is administered to the patient. c. A patient stops taking medication prior to finishing the whole prescription. d. A patient is quarantined, without medication, until he or she dies.
Antimicrobial resistance threatens the effective prevention and treatment of an ever-increasing range of infections caused by bacteria, parasites, viruses and fungi. I'm not so sure about that though. But when it's anti microbial resistant the bacteria stops responding to antibiotics. So I guess it won't cure. So I will go with D
