He gave them points based on how many hours they spent in the library researching their author. Seven students participated in the assignment, and their extra-credit points are shown here. okay so median means middle number, you have those numbers lines least to greatest now say if i had a number line going from 1 to 7 like so ex:1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 now take of one number from the front and from the back which leaves you with 2 and 16 then you do it again 3 and 15 and so on and so on until your left with only nine because you were shaving off the number from the front and the back.
