Which equation could be used to solve this problem? The sum of two consecutive integers is 129. Find the integers. A. 2n=129 B. 2n+1=129 C. n+1=129 D. 2n+2=129

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

if the 1st number is n what is the number that comes straight after it..?

OpenStudy (cookie_2046):

Wait the answer is C, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a+b=129 where a is your first integer and b is the second we want to express these things in terms of each other consecutive means one right after another. that means that if there's an integer, 3, the next consecutive integer is 4, (or 3+1)

Ok yay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why isn't it B?
