There are many hormones around that end with -tonin, like melatonin and calcitonin. Is there a specific reason for this?
@raiders88
I belive you should look it up in wikipidia
@niels5x9 Tonin: an enzyme found in many tissues; can generate angiotensin II and bradykinin from their precursors; it appears to sustain blood pressure. Melatonin is a hormone made by the pineal gland , a small gland in the brain. Melatonin helps control your sleep and wake cycles. Calcitonin is a naturally occurring hormone. It helps regulate calcium levels in your body and is involved in the process of bone building Do you see the similarities in all of these words? These hormones all work to SUSTAIN, CONTROL OR REGULATE something.
Oh, I see, thanks a lot!!
