I've been trying to figure this question out, but .. i don't seem to understand it? Can someone please help me on this? Marcus spent 10 hours doing his homework last week. This week he spent 11 hours doing homework. He says that he spent 110% more time doing homework this week. Is he correct? Show your work to justify your decision.

110% of 10 is \(1.1 \times10=11\) So if he did 110% more he would have done 11 more hours, meaning he would have done 21 hours total

So he is correct?

what do you think? How does what I wrote reconcile with what's in the question?
