Thanks Captain Obliviously, here's Field Marshal Logic with a response: Sometimes an arbitrary assignment is an arbitrary assignment and what the person really wants is help slugging through it. I'm cutting you off at the pass and retorting your "This site isn't for just giving answers, it's for learning." I agree that explaining an answer is helpful and should be the go-to method for this site; however that's not the case for every assignment. The U.S Education System, The Canadian System, and the English Education System are broken six ways from Sunday. The logic doesn't flow and more often than not it's about "grades" and not actual education. Education isn't being able to pass a test, education is: 1. The student absorbing the information and being able to apply it to a problem and/or to general life. 2. Learning and understanding information of interest to the learner. As someone who is an inspiring educator on his way out of high school and planning to go to college for teaching it pains me more than anything to have seen more than enough people commit suicide, drop out, or fail out just because they can't reach a magic score. I've met people with 4.0s who are some of the dumbest people that ever walked the face of the earth and I know people with 2.0s who blow the minds of college professors on a weekly basis. So if I can help someone get through a worthless test or assignment so they can please the state and then get to college and actually get educated then I'm doing it.
