In pea plants, the allele for wrinkled seeds (r) is recessive to the allele for round seeds (R). A population that is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium has an allele frequency of r = 0.4. In Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, gene frequency doesn't change in population so, 0.4 will be the frequency of r seeds in off springs i.e. \[250\times0.4=100\] wrinkled ones
