We are at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamp to the stars and it has been said that if we lose that war, and in doing so lose the way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening. -Future President Ronald Reagan 1964 What do you think that the meaning of this quotation is? Also do you agree or disagree?
nice quote no wonder Reagan was president
I agree with the quote.
It means: The U.S is a great nation with with so much to lose, but even in the face of danger we have the potential to thwart this danger no matter its size. So it would be quite a shocker if we quit on anything.
Awesome thanks:) very helpful
