Quantitative deals with numbers (percentage, fraction, whole numbers, mixed number) Qualitative is just description without numbers.

I agree with @Shalante @Pepper5 Quantative means that whatever it is you are studying can be measured.

@Pepper5 right away, those choices you can see that any thing that has a numerical value is a quantitative measurement. Qualitative on the other hand just means that the observation can't necessarily be measured directly for instance "my eyes are blue"
