sickle cell anaemia is a serious genetic disease that makes it harder for a person to carry enough oxygen in their blood. in europe the disease is very rare. However, in africa sickle cell anaemia is more common. explain why natural selection may act against people with sickle cell anaemia in europe

Again this relates to Charles Darwin's investigation on evolution. European or more vulnerable the the disease because they have a different gene or DNA. Also sickle cell anaemia is not part of European's natural habitat which makes them even more vulnerable. It pretty much relates to when indians from the (sorry i dont know the exact date but I bet between the 1400s) were very vulnerable of smallpox because it wasnt part of their habitat or accoustomed part of their lives.
