@mackenzie_Willa ok yea thanks i already did the graphing i did the same thing but how do i graph the "parent function" are there supposed to be 2 graphs in each table? I'm pretty sure I do because then how would I figure out the transformation?
I want to learn how to graph it in my own because i have a quiz coming up, I have tried looking at youtube videos and studying my textbook but i just don't seem to get it. It's so confusing. If you understand it would you mind explaining it. I would really appreciate it :)
What is the parent function you are trying to find? Is it y=x^2? Once you tell me that I can help you:)
It doesn't tell me what y equals ? It just asks me to graph the function and parent function of f(x)=1/3x and to describe the transformation

Ok does that mean the transformation is a dilation ?
