I got 5km 53.1º but it says 36.86º on the answer sheet. What did I do wrong? A hiker leaves camp, and using a compass, walks 4km East, 6km South, 3km East, 5km North, 10km West, 8km North, and 3km South. At the end of 3 days, the hiker is totally lost. By drawing a vector diagram, compute how far the hiker is from camp, and which direction he should take to get back to camp.
