ABCD is a trapezium. BC = 4 cm, Angle ABC = 30 degree, CD = 6 cm. Area of triangle ACB = 8 cm sq. Then the area of trapezium ABCD is?

Area of trapezium is just 1/2* sum of its parallel sides * height right? so we need AB and height CE |dw:1442153898438:dw| CE can be found using 30 -60 -90 rule
AB can be found since area ig given and height we just found
Answer is coming out to be 14.8 while the actual answer is 14.
CE = 2 16 = 2*AB AB = 8 Area = 1/2(8+ 6)* 2
