Use graphs and tables to find the limit and identify any vertical asymptotes of http://broward.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_precalc/v12/module09/0906_g13_q1.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

link doesn't work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

crap. its limit x approaching -2 of 1/x-2 @peachpi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This? \[\lim_{x \rightarrow -2}\frac{ -2 }{ x-2 }\] and did you try graphing it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont't know how. and that's right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have a graphing calculator? or use www.desmos.com/calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How to I plug it in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

type in "y=" then the function you want to graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please show me the graph I keep getting error

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@peachpi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what did you put in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For asymptotes, set the denominator equal to 0, so solve x - 2 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put in y=1/(x-2) for the graph. I don't have a way to attach it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@peachpi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes 2
