A toy company manufactures arcade games. They are marketing a new pinball machine to children. It is similar in size to the adult version of the same game. Both the adult and child models are shown below:


If the perimeter of the adult pinball machine is 177 inches, what is the length, in inches of Segment line G prime A prime? Type the numeric answer only in the box below.

30 is correct. next, we just set up a proportion.
\(\dfrac{GA}{G'A'}=\dfrac{EM}{E'M'}\\\dfrac{30}{x}=\dfrac{35}{14}\)

or you can just use the scale factor and so we know that 2.5*\((G'A)'\)=GA

so we can do \(2.5x=30\\x=\dfrac{30}{2.5}\)
