Given A= {1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9} and B= {2, 4, 7, 9}, solve the following A or B = B and A = Is it just the same as A U B or A (upside down U) B? Thanks. :)

\(\large\rm A~or~B \quad \equiv\quad A\cup B\) So which elements are in A, or in B? {1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9} All of these guys show in either the first or second set, ya? :) \(\large\rm A~and~B\quad \equiv\quad A\cap B\) Which elements are in A and in B? Hmm I see a 7 in both of them. Any others?
