14720 N.E 10ct Miami FL 33161 786-320-2167 junetterickman@gmail.com September 9, 2015 Dr. Terry E. Johnson Director of Fashion Is Suitable Inc. 1640 Franklin Place Washington, DC 20041 Dear Dr. Johnson: I am writing this letter because I want to obtain the position as the clothing assistant intern. I am a creative person, and I have the talent and skills that are needed for this job. I uncovered this position by scrolling through the web on my spare time. I was filled with excitement when I discovered I fit all the criteria of this position. I possess qualities such as, being organized, artistic, and punctual also I have a very strong business sense. If I am hired for this job you will notice my gift of remembering instructions and following them just as told, and my communicating skills with my fellow colleagues. By prior experience, and knowledge of the fashion world I would be a great person for this position. I conducted a private business tailoring, and making clothing for my costumers. In this job I handled money, I created styles, and patterns. In this new job, I can use these assets I learned and conduct them in this business. I am here to broaden my expertise in fashion, and while doing this I know I will help build this company financially. For example, if you give me a task to complete such as, buying the fabric for your new client and drawing a sketch for that client. I will know from prior experience that people have different taste so, I would ask her about the things she is interested in wearing, and what is her vision for her garment. This would give me a feel for what she likes and also gives me idea for what to sketch. With pervious knowledge of creating patterns, sketching, tailoring, and communicating in a well manner I truly believe that I am positioned surpass your expectations. If you can take it upon yourself to hire me I would be more then grateful. I look forward to seeing you in the near future if you consider me for this job. If you have any questions with the reviewing of anything above don’t hesitate to contact me via email or cell phone. Thank you. Sincerely yours Junette Rickman Enclosure: Resume.

First paragraph is a bit long-winded. Try to moderate your tone so you don't seem overly confident. You can simplify the first paragraph to. I am writing this letter because I would like to obtain the position as the clothing assistant intern. I am a creative person, and believe I have the talent and skills that are needed for this job. Then link it to your second paragraph. You also have repetitious use I through the 2nd paragraph. Try linking a couple sentences to make it sound more fluid.
