determine whether y varies directly with x. If so find a constant variation k. -6y=-5x

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

First you want to change \(\sf -6y=-5x\) tof it the form of direct variation, \(\sf y=kx\). Divide both sides of your function by \(\sf -6\). You get \(\sf y=\dfrac{5}{6}x\) Does \(\sf y=\dfrac{5}{6}x\) look similar to \(\sf y=kx\)?
