i agree @twinarmageddons both answers are close to the same but im not sure which one is actually right considering that there are good things to support why both could be the answer

@JayTheGreat Yes. :) I think C turned out to be correct because of the comma splice in A.

i agree because with the comma splice there should've been a period but there wasn't. I think that might be why its incorrect and correct.
