Can someone help me with this question-> How are arithmetic and geometric sequences similar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Arithmetic sequences are a list of numbers called terms that share a common difference. Geometeric sequences are a list of numbers that share a common ratio.

OpenStudy (wintersuntime):

thanks but are these similarities ?

OpenStudy (wintersuntime):

I suppose the similarities is that a) they're both a list of numbers and b) they share something that's common. The difference is that arithmetic = difference and geometric = ratio.

OpenStudy (wintersuntime):

oh okay thanks
