Time A: The blue runner's distance increases as the time increases. Time B: The blue runner is at equal distance with the red/orange runner Time C: The green runner is at equal distance with the red/orange runner. Time D: Red/orange runner was the slowest and finished last.. Blue runner, green runner, red/orange runner

Notice how the slope on the blue line increases (becomes more steep) at point A This is where the blue runner is changing their speed to run faster At point B, the red and blue runners meet. This is where the blue runner passes the red runner. Before this point, the red runner was in first place, but now the blue runner is in first. Green stays in last At point C, green passes red. So now red is in last place. Blue stays in first. Blue finishes at about the same time green passed red. At point D, red finishes up in last place with a much slower time than the other racers. It looks like red started off really fast (like a sprint) but then their speed decreased signficantly
