OpenStudy (clara1223):

find the limit as x approaches pi of sqrt(x)/csc(x)

OpenStudy (clara1223):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow \pi}\frac{ \sqrt{x} }{ \csc(x) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it in the form \(\frac{0}{0}\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

always plug in first to see what you get before continuing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

truth is i wouldn't even do that as a first step i would rewrite it as \[\lim_{x\to \pi}\sqrt{x}\sin(x)\]

OpenStudy (clara1223):

well then I get that the answer is 0 because sin(pi) is 0

OpenStudy (clara1223):

is there no simplifying after that? is the answer just 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup
