plz help! i need a step by step explanation

imqwerty (imqwerty):

the area of a rectangle is given by= length x breadth you are given - \[area=x^2 +12x\]and \[breadth=x\] let the length be l so \[l \times x =x^2 +12x\] then u take x common in the right hand side \[l \times x =x(x+12)\]then divide both sides by x\[(l \times x)\div x =x(x+12)\div x\]\[l=x+12 \]
