Which of the following is the rational exponent expression of 3 SQRT 4n? (third root of 4 n) A. (4n)^3 B. 3n^4 C. (4n)^1/3 D. 4n^1/3 I've tried C and D and they were both wrong. I think it's A, can someone please tell me if that's right?

OpenStudy (goose.):

Wait is it, \[\sqrt[3]{4n}\] or \[3\sqrt{4n}\]

OpenStudy (goose.):

Going to assume it is the first one,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, the first one.

OpenStudy (goose.):

Well then I'm stumped, if you already tried C and D. as the answer should be C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I thought but it was wrong so I tried D and it was wrong too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Square root of 2 can also be written as (2)^1/2 Cube root or third root of any number n is (n)^1/3 So what will the third root of any number 4n be? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope. It was C, thanks anways though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess I thought it said it was wrong and it was actually right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SRryy I was meant to say C I forgot about brackets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's all good.
