a
i kno the answer i don't need the answer i need to know why and that was wrong btw
You know how they say "Scored in the 99th percentile" and that means that you scored higher than 99% of others who have taken the test? Well apply that here If you are in the 68th percentile, you scored higher than 68% of others And if you are in the 32nd percentile, you scored higher than 32% of others So the larger proportion is Jane
no it's not
what does it mean when they say as high as jane?
*I wasnt saying the answer btw :) So lets break down the options now A. The proportion of the class that received a score less than John's score. So this is saying the amount of people who scored LESS than Johns score, well remember, he only scored higher than 32% of people...so this proportion is just 32% B. The proportion of the class that scored as high as or higher than Jane. Well Jane scored higher than 68% of people...and this option says how many people scored AT or HIGHER than her....well if shes already higher than 68%, then only 32% can be higher than her So this proportion is ALSO 32% Meaning they are the same :D
yes that's the right answer and i get it now after you explained why. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! <333333333333333333
