and the sign is a dividing sign if you cant see it well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 9

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

anyway you can explain there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put in the calc -63 / -7

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

When you divide two negative numbers, the negative sign will "cancel" each other out :) So essentially... -63 divided by -7 = 63 divided by 7 =9 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

turns positive because if you divide or multiple a negative and a negative sign becomes positvie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (openstudyrocks5*):

Wow Thanks @rastatharebel @butterflydreamer

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
