OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

It would be B im postitive im very good at + and -

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

What grade are u in.

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Ok thanks

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I trust you

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Because just because a number is greater than another, dosent mean it will always be the answer

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

It always depends on positive and negative

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Do you want to help me with another one!?

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Sure

OpenStudy (legends):

Yup the answer is B

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Which list of values is ordered from least to greatest? A. –8, –|–4|, 0, |–2| B. |–6|, 0, 4, –|–7| C. –|3|, |–2|, 0, 5 D. |–10|, –|–7|, 3, |–9|

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Oh yeah here's an example..... |-10| SO you see theres a negative number in it..... It wouldnt be negative anymore... everytime negative numbers are surrounded by | | .. it turns into a positive

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Ya I know it would just be 10! It is called absolute value!!!

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Will someone help me with my 2nd question!

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

@johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Oh it would be A!

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

|–12| isn't the same as -12

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

12 would turn into a positive

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Will anyone else want to come look as well

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I know it will but it didn't it that answer!!!!......

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

But A is right

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Lol first question again for a moment please Like all of you are saying...terms inside of an absolute value sign turn positive So B) |-4| < 3 --> 4 < 3 incorrect I just saw A as a possible choice A) |-12| = -12 --> 12 = -12 incorrect

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Using that same logic...what is the answer to the first question?

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Oh wait I am so sorry I wasn't even looking at my own right question....I was looking at the 1st question!

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Hahahahhaha

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

The 1st question was B

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Yeah and the 2nd is A

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Ok

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

First is certainly not B...

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Can I post this question

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Yes it is

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I only have one more question after this

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Okay ask it

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Which lists all the integer solutions of the equation |x| = 10? A. –10 only B. 0 and 10 C. 10 only D. –10 and 10

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I just want to make sure that I am getting these right

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You guys seem pretty set on that...But hear me out |-4| = 4 right? So in B |-4| < 3 Since |-4| = 4 that means 4 < 3 is 4 less than 3??

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

D of course

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

That's what I had it was really easy

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Last question

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Okay :)

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Which values satisfy the inequality? |y| > 6 Choose all answers that are correct. A. y = –7 B. y = –1 C. y = 3 D. y = 9

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

A and D

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Are you sure

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Im positive

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

I just got done studying all of this

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I will submit and see what I get

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Okay

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

I got an 80% so I will see what I got wrong but I still mastered

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Good!! :D

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

...The first question

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

#2 was incorrect.

OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):
