OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

For a set of data, how is range determined?

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

Explanation needed. Is simple terms, if possible.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

By subtracting the smallest from the largest in the data set

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.write the numbers of the data in order 2.take the lowest and subtract it from the highest number 3.then the range is your answer after that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example first you put a data set like this in order form least to snallest 7, 8, 65, 8, 4, 7 which would be 4, 7, 7, 8, 8, 65 since 65 is the largest and 4 is the smallest 64-4=61 the range = 61

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

medal each other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

you both are correct and i cant medal you both so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ikr

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

you medal him

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shouldnt i get 2 medls and he gets one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
