what is [2+3]+{3+89}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PEMDAS parentheses first [2+3] + [3+89] [5] + [92] can you finish it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve the brackets then go on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know PEMDAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PEMDAS is the general rule to follow when solving equations. It lets you know what parts to solve first, because if you go out of order, you will end up with a different number. P stands for parentheses. So you do whats in the parentheses first. The first parentheses is [2+3], which is 5 the second parentheses is [3+89] which is 92 then you can finish the equation you're left with 5+92=97

i did that part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

97 is the answer

what do you mean
